Registration/Materials Fee
$30 for annual Piano Transitions due with registration
$100 for annual Piano Lesson registration/materials fee
Fall 2008-09 Academic Year
$995 for 34 private lessons (40-minute minimum instruction time)
Equal monthly payments of $99.50 for ten months or $83 for 12 months.
Students who withdraw after the first semester will complete their payments with January 2009 if notification is given by December 1st.
Students who begin lessons in January 2009 begin the week of January 26, but begin their 5 equal monthly payments on February 1st.
POLICIES/PROCEDURES
Tuition and Fees
- The course of piano study consists of 34 lessons during the school year (two semesters).
- Students pay for lessons with ten or twelve equal monthly tuition payments.
- All students reserve a minimum of 40 minutes of instruction.
- Students may share additional lesson time with another student without additional tuition fees.
- Students are responsible for full payment of each 17-week semester, even if they do not attend all of the lessons.
Music Literature
- Students pay for music with annual registration/materials fee
- Students may keep method books
- Students must return additional solo pieces/other literature assigned from instructor's library.
- Students may choose to make a legal work copy of solo pieces to keep for their personal use.
- Students must pay to replace damaged or lost books/CDs.
Tuition payment options
- Families may choose either automatic monthly recurring billing or post-dated checks for tuition payment.
- Post-dated checks (payable to Music Moves and dated on the first of the month) are due on or before the first day of lessons (no exceptions).
- Enrollment in the automatic credit card payment plan requires a completed consent form due on or before the first day of lessons. Credit Card Form
Make-up lessons
- Make-up lessons are not scheduled.
- Exceptions are made only for unusual circumstances (such as a serious illness resulting in several missed lessons).
- Family trips, weather, special school obligations, sport participation, car trouble, birthday parties, normal illnesses, family emergencies, etc. are not considered unusual circumstances.
Lesson Cancellations
- Winter weather school cancellations do not necessarily mean that driving conditions will not be good at lesson time. Contact instructor if you have questions.
- Call instructor if you will miss your lesson. Leave a message if necessary.
- If you instructor cancels more than one lesson, a makeup lesson will be scheduled.
- A 10-minute grace period is extended for late students when instructor has no other lessons scheduled.
Termination
- Discuss any issues with instructor before withdrawing.
- If mid-year withdrawal is necessary, allow one month for closure.
- Given a 30-day notification, post-dated checks for the remaining session(s) will be returned or auto-pay will be canceled.

ADDITIONAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION
- Use the form below for all Music Moves registrations.
- Families who choose auto-pay must fill out the credit card form or agree to have automatic recurring billing set up with the registration credit/debit card. Credit Card Form
- Families who choose post-dated checks (payable to Music Moves and dated the 1st of the month) must bring them on or before the first lesson.
- Registration reserves an opportunity to choose a lesson time and provides important scheduling limitations. If compatible lesson times are not available, registration fees will be returned.
- Your online submission of the registration form is not complete without a check in the final box indicating your acceptance of the terms and conditions.
